Thirst and The Cow lança novo álbum "The Main Sequence at Last" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, já havia sido lançado os álbuns "Distances, Vol.1: Night Sky", "Gates" e "Time Gardeners".
O novo trabalho proporciona aos ouvintes um som rock progressivo instrumental, que nos leva para as grandes influências dos anos 90, com o rock do Radiohead, Trey Gunn e outros.
"The Main Sequence at Last" chega com a primeira canção "Forming" que é uma faixa de introdução, com um arranjo mágico, nos leva a uma atmosfera que vai crescendo e nos leva para um pensamento de esperança, de que algo está nascendo.
A segunda canção "The Fusion of Heavier Elements" inicia com riffs de guitarra que vai nos envolvendo, um começo ainda misterioso, as batidas entram bem leves e vão crescendo. A música é constante, em um ritmo que é bem equilibrado, sem muita euforia, mas bem tranquilo. De repente, tem una transição que vai para um rock bem forte, agitando com a bateria e fazendo vibrar com o solo de guitarra. É uma real mistura de elementos.
A quinta canção "212°" tem riffs de guitarra que começam a faixa que vai progredindo e crescendo em um ritmo suave. Com a bateria ao fundo, os sons da batida vão chegando perto, nos chamando a entrar na faixa. Ao fundo, surge um solo de guitarra, que faz transição, em uma melodia que parece ter uma influência dos anos 80.
"Illumination" é a oitava canção, nos faz ir para longe, em uma viagem cósmica, transcendental, indo em direção a luz, que não queima e não nos cega, uma canção que nos traz paz em tempos obscuros, tempos que caminhamos, temos que seguir em frente em meio ao caos social, uma faixa que por quase 3 minutos temos nosso caminho se abrindo e iluminado.
A nona canção "Mercury" tem um rock mais poderoso, com riffs que constroem a canção como se fosse uma escada, que sobe gradualmente, com batidas que nos incendeiam por dentro, junto com o baixo que traz algo dos blues, é genial.
"Primordial" chega com um som leve, como se fosse uma passagem, algo que é marcante, fazendo nossa mente imaginar, instigando a sonhar. Uma introdução que interage com os ouvintes. De repente, surge alguns riffs distantes que tocam ao redor desse ambiente mágico que é feito com o arranjo.
A décima segunda canção "Darkly Forming" traz o oposto da faixa inaugural. Enquanto a primeira nos traz esperança, essa última canção tem um som eletrizante caótico que nos faz ir em caminhos escuros e um certo tormento na mente, um som que flerta com o terror psicológico.
O novo álbum está incrível, em uma melodia instrumental impactante e versátil, que nos conecta fortemente em um som que vai do rock progressivo para um alt pop dark em alguns momentos, um trabalho aberto e que nos faz vibrar do começo ao fim.

Thirst and The Cow releases new album "The Main Sequence at Last" being the first work released this year. Previously, the albums "Distances, Vol.1: Night Sky", "Gates" and "Time Gardeners" had already been released. The new work provides listeners with an instrumental progressive rock sound, which takes us to the great influences of the 90s, such as the rock of Radiohead, Trey Gunn and others. "The Main Sequence at Last" arrives with the first song "Forming" which is an intro track, with a magical arrangement, takes us to an atmosphere that grows and leads us to a thought of hope, that something is being born. The second song "The Fusion of Heavier Elements" begins with guitar riffs that will envelop us, an ending that is still mysterious, the beats enter well and grow. The music is constant, at a rhythm that is well balanced, without too much euphoria, but very calm. Suddenly, there is a transition that goes into a very strong rock, shaking with the drums and vibrating with the guitar solo. It's a real mix of elements. The fifth song "212°" has guitar riffs that begin a track that progresses and grows at a gentle pace. With the drums in the background, the sounds of the beat approaching, call us to join the track. In the background, a guitar solo appears, which transitions into a melody that seems to have an 80s influence.
"Illumination" is the eighth song, it makes us go far away, on a cosmic, transcendental journey, heading towards the light, which doesn't burn and doesn't blind us, a song that brings us peace in dark times, times we walk, we have to move forward in the midst of social chaos, a track in which for almost 3 minutes we have our path opening and illuminated. The ninth song "Mercury" has a more powerful rock, with riffs that build the song as if it were a staircase, which gradually climbs, with beats that set us on fire inside, along with the bass that brings something of the blues, it's brilliant. "Primordial" arrives with a light sound, as if it were a passage, something that is striking, making our mind imagine, encouraging us to dream. An introduction that interacts with listeners. Suddenly, some distant riffs appear that play around this magical environment that is created with the arrangement. The twelfth song "Darkly Forming" brings the opposite of the opening track. While the first one brings us hope, this last song has an electrifying chaotic sound that takes us down dark paths and a certain torment in the mind, a sound that flirts with psychological terror. The new album is incredible, with an impactful and versatile instrumental melody, which connects us strongly in a sound that goes from progressive rock to dark alt pop at times, an open work that makes us vibrate from beginning to end.
