Makeshift One lança novo single "Star-Crossed" sendo o quinto trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Panavision" e "Ego Death". Além disso, tem o álbum "Cognitive Dissonance".
O novo trabalho "Star-Crossed" traz uma ideia de relacionamento ou mesmo da vida que é governado pelo alinhamento de estrelas, podendo ser estrelas do mal.
Com uma melodia suave, jazz, um som cativante na introdução, tem um vocal que tem uma pegada mais hip hop. O vocal nos cativa e nos leva em uma letra que nos coloca dentro do tema, como se tivéssemos vivendo em primeira pessoa tudo isso.
"Star-Crossed" tem um groove perfeito, versátil, com som de algo que é um saxofone. O refrão é contagiante, nos faz cantar juntos, com muita suavidade, nos leva para lugares suaves, como passar o por do sol na areia da praia.
É uma genialidade fazer uma mescla entre o hip hop e o jazz, Makeshift One nos faz flutuar no refrão, nos mergulha nas rimas no coro, um som que tem um equilíbrio perfeito.
"Star-Crossed" é eletrizante do começo ao fim, um som que nos envolve e mexe com a gente, fluindo suavemente em nossas veias, com muita qualidade e leveza, a expressividade não falta na letra.

Makeshift One releases new single "Star-Crossed" being the fifth work released this year. Previously, the singles “Panavision” and “Ego Death” had been released. With a smooth, jazzy melody, a captivating sound in the introduction, it has a vocal that has a more hip hop feel. The vocal captivates us and takes us into lyrics that place us within the theme, as if we were experiencing it all in the first person. "Star-Crossed" has a perfect, versatile groove, with the sound of something like a saxophone. The chorus is contagious, it makes us sing together, very softly, it takes us to soft places, like spending the sunset on the beach sand. It's genius to create a mix between hip hop and jazz, Makeshift One makes us float in the chorus, immerses us in the rhymes in the chorus, a sound that has a perfect balance. "Star-Crossed" is electrifying from beginning to end, a sound that involves us and moves us, flowing smoothly through our veins, with a lot of quality and lightness, there is no lack of expressiveness in the lyrics.
