O trabalho "Focus" traz uma variação entre o R&B, pop, até o rock, de forma surpreendente vai para o hip hop, com muito talento.
A primeira faixa "Focus" já tem o mesmo nome do álbum, que tem uma visão motivadora, permanência consistente em seus objetivos, persista em seus sonhos e insista, uma canção introdutória bem breve com um vocal disperso dizendo "Focus".
A segunda canção "Are You Ready" tem um começo bem melódico, com um vocal espetacular, que nos aquece para a canção, nos contagiando. Joe vai narrando, em um toque de teclado, ouve -se sons de pássaros, são conselhos e boas palavras que Joe nos passa, relembrando nossas origens e nos dando um gás para ir atrás dos nossos sonhos. A quarta canção "You & Me" feita em parceria com Frederic. A canção é surpreendente, tem um violão meio folk que já nos envolve na dinâmica do ritmo da faixa. Uma canção que nos cativa com um vocal sólido, grave, uma segunda voz mais aguda e que combina perfeitamente uma com a outra. A canção é muito bonita, uma valorização da dupla dos personagens da letra da canção, são fortes, são complementares, resgatam um ao outro, é fascinante com batidas suaves e um ritmo que mescla folk, pop, hip hop, R&B.
A oitava canção "Maman" tem uma melodia muito agradável, uma canção que é suave, relaxante, um pop R&B, cantada em francês, traz uma variação linguística que torna a faixa mais bela, gruda facilmente na cabeça. Imagina chegar em casa, de um dia de trabalho cansativo, trânsito, coloque aqui essa faixa para relaxar e pensar na pessoa que ama.
A décima primeira canção "Tout Soul" tem um toque mais reggae no início. Nos faz ir para as praias, debaixo de uma sombra, relaxar. Joe Lington nos cativa com seu vocal leve, melódico, que flui suavemente em nosso corpo e veia, nos faz querer cantar juntos. As batidas crescem e vão mesclando uma pegada hip hop que nos agita.
"I Wanna Be" é a décima terceira faixa, para quem está triste, se sentindo sozinho, a faixa aquece nossos corações, com batidas envolventes. Também tem o lado romântico, um Love song que mostra o que queremos ser para a nossa garota, queremos ser tudo para ela.
Para finalizar, sem muito spoiler aqui, a décima sexta canção "Ce Monde", tem uma pegada mais pop R&B, com batidas que nos fazem querer dançar com alguém especial, uma faixa para aquecer o clima e o ambiente ao redor, nos levando em um ritmo contagiante.
O álbum "Focus" tem de tudo, para todos os gostos, uma obra que surpreende pela versatilidade e qualidade sonora, e claro, Joe Lington nos dá um show a parte com seu vocal briahente.

The first track "Focus" already has the same name as the album, which has a motivating vision, stay consistent in your goals, persist in your dreams and insist, a very brief introductory song with a scattered vocal saying "Focus". The second song "Are You Ready" has a very melodic beginning, with a spectacular vocal, which warms us up to the song, infecting us. Joe narrates, with a touch of the keyboard, we hear the sounds of birds, these are advice and good words that Joe gives us, remembering our origins and giving us the energy to pursue our dreams. Are you prepared? The fourth song "You & Me" made in partnership with Frederic. The song is surprising, it has a folk guitar that already involves us in the dynamics of the track's rhythm. A song that captivates us with a solid, serious vocal, a higher second voice that combines perfectly with each other. The eighth song "Maman" has a very pleasant melody, a song that is soft, relaxing, R&B pop, sung in French, brings a linguistic variation that makes the track more beautiful, it easily sticks in your head. Imagine coming home from a tiring day at work, traffic, put this track on here to relax and think about the person you love. The eleventh song "Tout Soul" has a more reggae feel at the beginning. It makes us go to the beaches, under the shade, to relax. Joe Lington captivates us with his light, melodic vocals, which flow smoothly through our body and veins, making us want to sing together.
