Hover Bird lança novo EP "Place I Want To Be" sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Deep Deep Space" e "Passion".
A banda Hover Bird traz um rock alternativo e versátil, traz algo de arrependimento, dor e os estágios de perceber que algo aconteceu, desde a negação até a aceitação de que as coisas estão mudando. Versátil, as 5 canções do EP surpreendem os ouvintes.
Para começar, tem a primeira canção "Sweet", com um rock and roll forte, marcante, uma performance maravilhosa com uma harmonia incrível entre vocal, guitarra e bateria. A música é bem cativante, nos faz entrar na canção. O sintetizador ao fundo é para fazer sangrar nossos corações, em um estilo rock retrô.
A segunda traz na melodia um rock clássico como se fosse os anos 60 e 70, é como se Deep Purple e Fletwood Mac tivessem tido um filho, seria Hover Bird. "Cold Breathing" chega para arrebatar os ouvintes com solos de guitarra que é de tirar o fôlego e um arranjo com um som como um órgão, a vocalista é impecável e aumenta a atmosfera da canção.
A terceira canção "Surprise" tem riffs de baixo, como um soul e funk, batidas fortes, envolventes, a vocal nos encanta e traz suavidade, em meio ao som que vai crescendo e já nos toma em sua primeira parte. Acelera os corações, é misteriosa, não sabemos onde vai parar.
O EP passa pela quarta faixa "Turn Around", o clima sonoro muda, algo mais pop rock, um toque de piano que é maravilhoso e a canção tem a entrada depois dos demais instrumentos. As batidas são fortes e roubam a cena com o piano. A canção é cantada em duo, um refrão que nos dá vontade de cantar juntos. Tem uma pitada gótica aqui.
Depois, para finalizar, sem muito spoiler, tem a quinta canção "This Is Fine", bem mais lenta, é clássica, com piano, e um solo de guitarra nas transições de versos, é algo lindo.
O EP "Place I Want To Be" nos cativa, consegue nos conquistar em variados ritmos e melodia, indo do rock alternativo ao clássico, passando por algo pop, gótico, é genial como as letras e histórias são colocadas, um EP muito bem feito por Hover Bird.

Hover Bird launches new EP "Place I Want To Be" being the first work released that year. Before, the singles "Deep Deep Space" and "Passion" had already been released. The band Hover Bird brings an alternative and versatile rock, brings something regrettable, than the projects of realizing that something happened, from denial to the ease that things are changing. Versatile, the 5 songs on the EP surprise listeners. For starters, there's the first song "Sweet", with a strong, striking rock and roll, a wonderful performance with an incredible harmony between vocals, guitar and drums. The music is very catchy, it makes us get into the song. The synthesizer in the background is to make our hearts bleed, in a retro rock style. The second brings the melody a classic rock like it's from the 60's and 70's, it's like Deep Purple and Fletwood Mac had a child, the Hover Bird series. "Cold Breathing" arrives to enrapture the listeners with guitar solos that are breathtaking and an arrangement with an organ sound, the vocalist is impeccable and adds to the atmosphere of the song. The third song "Surprise" has bass riffs, like soul and funk, strong beats, involving, a vocal delights us and brings improvements, amidst the sound that grows and already takes us in its first part. Accelerating hearts, it's mysterious, we don't know where it's going. The EP goes through the fourth track "Turn Around", the sound climate changes, something more pop rock, a piano touch that is wonderful and the song starts after the other instruments. The beats are strong and steal the scene with the piano. The song is sung in a duo, a chorus that makes us want to sing together. There's a bit of goth here. Then, to finish, without much spoiler, there's the fifth song "This Is Fine", much slower, it's classic, with piano, and a guitar solo in the verse transitions, it's something beautiful. The EP "Place I Want To Be" captivates us, it manages to conquer us in varied rhythms and melody, going from alternative rock to classic, going through something pop, gothic, it's great how the lyrics and stories are put together, an EP very well done by Hover Bird.
