Anona lança novo EP "Anona" com 7 faixas, sendo o primeiro trabalho lançado nesse ano.
No ano passado, havia sido lançado um single que faz parte do novo trabalho compactado.
A artista é bem versátil, diretamente de Brighton, Reino Unido, ela surge com um som autêntico e com muita singularidade, algo único, cinemático, uma verdadeira obra artística que através dos sons e voz já formamos imagens em nossa mente e somos levados para lugares nunca visitados antes. Pintora, faz parte de uma outras bandas como flautista ou vocal, uma genialidade que vem lhe rendendo o título de A Rainha do Freak Folk".
A primeira canção "Introduction" é uma melodia instrumental que traz uma abertura natural e transcendental pelos toques de piano em desconstrução que nos introduz ao EP.
Para ser mais claro, a segunda canção "The Boy and The Lion" é como se fosse uma mistura de "Riders On The Storm" de The Doors, com algo mais psicodélico, um som que lembra Jethro Tull ou Pink Floyd, algo mágico com uma voz maravilhosa de Anona. Uma canção sólida e que vai crescendo, com efeitos da flauta, piano, uma faixa bem envolvente e cativante.
"Anona" é a quarta faixa, com uma introdução intimista e gostosa, tem batidas que nos faz sentir a canção e saxofone (ou Trompete) que traz um pouco do jazz. A voz delicada e suave de Anona nos faz flutuar, em meio ao instrumental que é de tirar o fôlego com toda sua classe e elegância, algo que parece ser um MPB se fosse aqui no Brasil, um bossa nova, moderno e surpreendente, para deixar ainda mais quente noites de verão na praia.
A quinta canção "Alizarin" é como se estivéssemos em meio a uma cena de ação em algum filme antigo, talvez de faroeste, um filme que nos prende a atenção com uma melodia que acelera os corações e nos deixa apreensivos, uma melodia que traz um sentimento diferente.
"Ruby Mountain" é a sexta canção, um início avassalador que conquista nossos corações com um saxofone gostoso de ouvir, batidas intimistas que anunciam o que está por vir. Logo, entra a voz sensacional que nos faz ir na canção e participamos, entramos na temática, que conta com um solo de violão nas cordas que nos arrebata.
Sem dar spoiler da última faixa "Moth Song", que está incrível, o novo EP debute é uma marca para Ella Russell, que compôs essas canções entre 19 e 21 anos, um EP que marca a estreia consolidada da "Princesa do Freak Folk", que debuta com um som fluido, versátil e sem estar preso a algum gênero definido.

Anona launches new EP "Anona" with 7 tracks, being the first work released this year. Last year, a single was released that is part of the new compressed work. The artist is very versatile, directly from Brighton, United Kingdom, she comes up with an authentic sound and with a lot of uniqueness, something unique, cinematic, a true artistic work that through the sounds and voice we already form images in our mind and are taken to places never visited before. A painter, she is part of other bands as a flutist or vocalist, a genius that has earned her the title of The Queen of Freak Folk". The first song "Introduction" is an instrumental melody that brings a natural and transcendent opening through the deconstruction piano touches that introduces us to the EP. To be clearer, the second song "The Boy and The Lion" is like a mix of "Riders On The Storm" by The Doors, with something more psychedelic, a sound that reminds Jethro Tull or Pink Floyd, something magical with a wonderful voice from Anona. A solid song that grows, with flute and piano effects, a very engaging and catchy track. "Anona" is the fourth track, with an intimate and delicious introduction, it has beats that make us feel the song and saxophone (or trumpet) that brings a bit of jazz. Anona's delicate and smooth voice makes us float, amidst the instrumental that is breathtaking with all its class and elegance, something that seems to be MPB if it were here in Brazil, a bossa nova, modern and surprising, to leave even hotter summer nights at the beach. The fifth song "Alizarin" is as if we were in the middle of an action scene in some old movie, maybe a western, a movie that holds our attention with a melody that makes our hearts race and makes us apprehensive, a melody that brings a different feeling. "Ruby Mountain" is the sixth song, an overwhelming beginning that conquers our hearts with a pleasant saxophone to hear, intimate beats that announce what is to come. Soon, the sensational voice comes in that makes us go into the song and we participate, we enter the theme, which has a guitar solo on the strings that enraptures us. Without spoiling the last track "Moth Song", which is amazing, the new debut EP is a brand for Ella Russell, who composed these songs between 19 and 21 years old, an EP that marks the consolidated debut of the "Princess of Freak Folk" , which debuts with a fluid, versatile sound and without being tied to any defined genre.
