Aaronson lança novo álbum "The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under" sendo o primeiro trabalho do tipo lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado alguns singles que fazem parte do álbum. Em 2021,foi lançado o EP com 4 faixas ao vivo "You Are Not Stranger Here /Live at Le Pub".
O novo álbum foi produzido pelo renomado produtor Charlie Francis (REM e outros) e tem sido bem recebido pela crítica. O trio traz um som experimental dentro do rock and roll, com uma pegada que nos conecta fortemente no trabalho.
"The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under" inicia com a faixa "Lowest Tide", uma faixa transcendental, que tem sons de ambientes naturais e ainda um toque de piano que leva nossa mente embora para longe. Uma onda profunda e contagiante, a primeira faixa está sensacional.
A terceira canção "Where Do You Go When You Disappear?" tem uma melodia lenta em seu início, com toques suaves de piano. Gradualmente, o ritmo vai crescendo com as batidas que vão tomando conta da música. Os ouvintes entram e se aprofundam em um ritmo surpreendente, antes lento, depois crescente e no decorrer fica agitado com a mistura da bateria e o riff de guitarra que é genial. Um título que questiona e faz nossa mente refletir sobre para onde vamos depois de tudo.
"The Silent World" é a quinta canção. A introdução é empolgante, eletriza e cativa os ouvintes logo no começo. A melodia sonora é instigante, nos faz querer correr, pela cidade, com o fone de ouvido bem alto e não ouvir nada do que está passando no mundo lá fora, ficar um tempo em nossa mente, em nossa própria companhia, as vezes isso é tudo o que precisamos.
"Shipwrecks" tem uma melodia constante, é fascinante toda a construção sonora que tem nessa canção, uma vibração que faz os ouvintes ficarem flutuando do começo ao fim, como se estivéssemos mergulhando dentro da música.
Para finalizar, temos a última faixa "Return To The Surface", uma canção que nos traz de volta a realidade após minutos imersos em uma experiência sonora que é de tirar o fôlego, nos arrepiando com um som crescente e que nos faz sonhar, viver, planejar e almejar boas coisas após ouvir o álbum inteiro, uma volta para a superfície com uma ótima bagagem vinda do álbum "The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under".

Aaronson launches new album "The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under" being the first work of its kind released this year. Before, some singles that are part of the album had been released. In 2021, the EP with 4 live tracks "You Are Not Stranger Here / Live at Le Pub" was released. The new album was produced by renowned producer Charlie Francis (REM and others) and has been well received by critics. The trio brings an experimental sound within rock and roll, with a footprint that strongly connects us at work. "The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under" opens with the track "Lowest Tide", a transcendent track, which has sounds of natural surroundings and even a touch of piano that takes our mind away. A deep and contagious wave, the first track is sensational. The third song "Where Do You Go When You Disappear?" it has a slow melody at the beginning, with soft piano touches. Gradually, the rhythm grows with the beats that take over the music. The listeners enter and delve into an amazing rhythm, first slow, then soaring and in the course it gets agitated with the mix of drums and the guitar riff that is genius. A title that questions and makes our mind reflect on where we are going after all. "The Silent World" is the fifth song. The introduction is exciting, electrifies and captivates listeners right from the start.
