Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Terrible Fight" e "Arkansas".
A banda vem lá dos tempos de escola, formada pelo guitarrista Dale, o vocalista Tom, Fin no baixo e Dave na bateria. A banda traz o clássico dos anos 70 com o som moderno e despojado atual, algo sensacional, na vibe de Catifish and The Bottlemen, The 1975 e outros.
O novo trabalho "Doomsday" tem um som indie rock marcante, com guitarra fazendo riffs eletrizantes na introdução, bateria bem forte e o baixo ditando o tom. Então entra o vocal, leve, suave, nos cativa com sua voz e nos envolve na canção.

The Tristed releases new single "Doomsday" being the second work released that year. Before, the singles "Terrible Fight" and "Arkansas" had been released. The band comes from school days, formed by guitarist Dale, vocalist Tom, Fin on bass and Dave on drums. The band brings the classic of the 70's with the modern and stripped sound of today, something sensational, in the vibe of Catifish and The Bottlemen, The 1975 and others. The new work "Doomsday" has a strong indie rock sound, with guitar making electrifying riffs in the introduction, very strong drums and bass dictating the tone. Then comes the vocal, light, smooth, captivates us with his voice and involves us in the song. The chorus arrives, the track has an atmosphere that rises, the energy takes us and makes us want to sing along, a chorus that sticks in the head. After the second chorus, there's a brilliant, sweeping guitar solo that sets the listeners on fire. "Doomsday" is an easy-listening track with a catchy chorus that wins listeners over. The Trusted kicks ass and brings us a new hit for indie rock, one that flows through our veins and is quickly on the tip of the tongue, makes us jump and shivers in the instrumental part.
