9 o'clock Nasty releases new single "Dude, is your mother a squid?" being the eighth work released that year. Before that, the singles "Mood is Low" and "The Gastronaut" were released, you can click on the links to review. With almost 10,000 listeners on Spotify, the band has been growing and conquering audiences with their irreverent music and autonomous lyrics. Straight from Leicester to the world, they bring their take on things with a dash of love and a lot of sarcasm. "Dude, is your mom a squid?" starts with the strong beats and a vocal that electrifies us and connects us strongly in the track. In partnership with I Am The Unicorn Head, they bring an indie rock synthesizer, which transports us to the 80s and 90s, a mixture of nostalgic indie pop, with the beats that involve us and make us want to dance. The vocal sings softly, with a rhythm that flows naturally in our veins and the melody is engraved in our mind.
