PECQ lança novo EP "Amnesia's Ritual" sendo o quinto trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "The Analyst", e "Left Behind", fazendo parte do EP.
O multi instrumentalista duo formado por Niko O'brien e Hannah Jacobs. Após passarem anos compondo e produzindo para outros artistas, na pandemia eles resolvem formar o duo e trazem o amor pelo sintetizador em suas canções.
O novo trabalho "Amnesia's Ritual" tem a primeira faixa " Left Behind" tem um toque gostoso de ouvir, em uma melodia que é agitada, com um estilo pop. O sintetizador é genial, nos faz flutuar nessa faixa que já nos conecta ao EP e somos envolvidos. O vocal de Hannah é maravilhoso, nos cativa, no refrão nos dá vontade de cantar juntos. Tem uma influência nostálgica dos anos 80.
A segunda faixa "Block The Noise" tem uma pegada mais Leftfield, eletrônica, com batidas diferenciadas e um vocal que é intimista, nos arrepia essa sintonia entre vocal e instrumental, uma canção que nos faz flutuar.
"The Analyst" é a terceira canção. Tem um estilo mais introspectivo pop, dream pop, com batidas crescentes. Ideal para o cair da noite, antes de dormir, relaxar e meditar. Suave, leve, um clima que o sintetizador fornece pelo arranjo gostoso que nos é passado. Nossa mente viaja para longe, com toques que tem uma harmonia entre os instrumentos, algo mágico acontece nessa faixa.
Para finalizar, a última canção "Beggining" fecha o trabalho brilhante do EP, que tem uma variação muito boa dentro do synth pop. Sem muito spoiler, a faixa traz um refrão transcendental, com um vocal mais falsete, é muito bom ouvir.
O EP é um trabalho genial, mágico, sólido, o som que nos cativa e contagia, na primeira faixa já somos conquistados e depois somos levados como uma folha de árvore carregado pelo vento, as canções surpreendem e gruda em nossas mentes.

PECQ launches new EP "Amnesia's Ritual" being the fifth work released that year. Before, the singles "The Analyst" and "Left Behind" had been released, being part of the EP. The multi-instrumentalist duo formed by Niko O'brien and Hannah Jacobs. After spending years composing and producing for other artists, in the pandemic they decided to form a duo and bring their love for the synthesizer to their songs. The new work "Amnesia's Ritual" has the first track "Left Behind" has a nice touch to hear, in a melody that is agitated, with a pop style. The synthesizer is brilliant, it makes us float on this track that already connects us to the EP and we are involved. Hannah's vocals are wonderful, captivates us, in the chorus it makes us want to sing together. It has a nostalgic 80's influence. The second track "Block The Noise" has a more Leftfield, electronic feel, with different beats and a vocal that is intimate, this harmony between vocal and instrumental gives us chills, a song that makes us float. "The Analyst" is the third song. It has a more introspective pop, dream pop style, with soaring beats. Ideal for nightfall, before bed, relaxing and meditating. Soft, light, a climate that the synthesizer provides for the pleasant arrangement that is passed on to us. Our mind travels far, with touches that have a harmony between the instruments, something magical happens in this track. Finally, the last song "Beggining" closes the brilliant work of the EP, which has a very good variation within the synth pop. Without much spoiler, the track brings a transcendental chorus, with a more falsetto vocal, it's very good to hear. The EP is a genius, magical, solid work, the sound that captivates and infects us, in the first track we are already conquered and then we are carried away like a tree leaf carried by the wind, the songs surprise and stick in our minds.
