Alex Goupil lança novo single "The First Time" sendo o segundo trabalho lançado nesse ano.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Falling Apart" nesse ano e "I Swear" em 2021.
O canadense cresceu fazendo músicas com seus amigos de escola tocando em sua garagem de casa. Foi para Londres quando ficou mais velho, lançou suas primeiras canções, realizando seu sonho, fez shows e agora está de volta em sua terra Canadá.
O novo trabalho "The First Time", Alex nos leva em seu acústico no começo. Um violão suave, tocando acordes leves e um vocal que cativa os ouvintes pela sua simplicidade. No refrão, temos um backing vocal bem discreto ao fundo e logo, na primeira parte, na primeira vez, a canção já nos conquista.
Então, entram as batidas e a canção começa a ficar mais agitada, ainda bem suave. Com um som que é marcante e constante, logo gruda na cabeça e estamos querendo cantar o refrão juntos.

Alex Goupil launches new single "The First Time" being the second work released this year. Previously, the singles "Falling Apart" had been released that year and "I Swear" in 2021. The Canadian grew up making songs with his school friends playing in his garage at home. He went to London when he got older, released his first songs, following his dream, played shows and now he's back in his native Canada. The new work "The First Time", Alex takes us in his acoustic at the beginning. A smooth guitar, playing light chords and a vocal that captivates listeners for its simplicity. In the chorus, we have a very discreet backing vocal in the background and then, in the first part, the first time, the song already conquers us. Then between the beats and the song it starts to get more controlled, still quite smooth. With a sound that is strong and constant, it soon sticks in the head and we are wanting to sing the chorus together. A relaxing and acoustic pop rock, we are experiencing cold days here in Brazil, winter, the song warms our hearts and brings a wonderful climate. It's worth adding "The First Time" to the playlist and waking up listening to this beautiful composition right at breakfast.
