Butterfly Garden lança novo álbum "This Was Gonna Last" sendo o primeiro lançado da banda.
Antes, havia sido lançado os singles "Sirenita e "Waste of Time".
O novo álbum traz 9 faixas que são geniais, a a banda ainda bem jovem, mas com uma maturidade sonora que mostra todo o potencial dos caras de Buttefly Garden.
A primeira faixa "17" traz riffs que são gostosos de ouvir, com uma pegada das batidas que variam os movimentos e com isso o ritmo da canção. O vocal entra, sólido, marcante, calmo, leva os ouvintes em uma canção forte na letra e que na parte instrumental surpreende bastante. Um indie rock que já conquista os ouvintes nesse início álbum. Bem versátil, "17" assume outros rumos e surpreende adiante.
"Attic" é a segunda canção. Despojada, animada, divertida, o vocal canta sem se preocupar, mantém seu tom constante e mantém um equilíbrio muito bom com o instrumental, que é versátil e tem riffs agudos geniais, com as batidas bem agitadas. Tem a cara indie anos 2000 que nos deixa saudades.
"Tinted Windows" é a quinta canção. Com uma pegada suave, calma, com batidas diferenciadas e acordes bem leves, é uma fusão indie rock e o bossa nova brasileiro, uma mistura que cai muito bem. Com muita qualidade, a banda proporciona ao ouvinte amante de indie rock a possibilidade de escutar essa bela canção na praia, totalmente suave e gostosa de ouvir.
A sétima faixa "Waste of Time" tem um solo no início de duas guitarras, uma base e outra dedilhando, bem suave, um rock leve, que tem no decorrer riffs graves e batidas leves, uma combinação sonora que agrada bastante. O vocal leva os ouvintes para o pré refrão com pausas instrumentais ocasionadas pela genialidade da guitarra e seu solo. No refrão, o vocal solta a voz e contagia os ouvintes, nos dá vontade de cantar junto.
"Sirenita" é a oitava canção, com uma pegada também bossa nova, surprenende os riffs de guitarra ao fundo. A introdução é bem próxima ao ritmo que tá no gosto dos brasileiros. Depois, tem uma mudança total, entram batidas mais rock and roll e riffs de guitarra marcantes. Todo o estilo bossa nova antes acaba. É impressionante essas rpaodad transformações sonoras que ocorrem aqui. O refrão é bem acelerado, com um vocal feminino ao fundo.
A última faixa, nona, "Virginia" sem muito spoiler, tem toda a suavidade do violão, é um começo que já sentimos o lado sonoro intimista da banda. São 7 minutos de uma canção que é marcante, com o violão fazendo todo o som, vale a pena ouvir.
O álbum "This Was Gonna Last" tem canções fantásticas, indie rock que surpreendem, com suas transformações e ambientes sonoros diversificados, Butterfly Garden arrebenta com o instrumental inesquecível e um vocalista com um timbre sólido. São os novos. Se The Strokes e Arctic Monkeys tivessem tido um filho seria Butterfly Garden!

Butterfly Garden releases new album "This Was Gonna Last" being the band's first release. Before, the singles "Sirenita and "Waste of Time" had been released. The new album brings 9 tracks that are genius, to a band that is still very young, but with a sound maturity that shows the full potential of the guys from Buttefly Garden. The first track "17" brings riffs that are pleasant to hear, with a footprint of the beats that vary the movements and with that the rhythm of the song. The vocal comes in, solid, striking, calm, takes the listeners into a song that is strong in the lyrics and that in the instrumental part surprises a lot. An indie rock that already conquers listeners in this early album. Very versatile, "17" assumes other rumors and surprises ahead. "Attic" is the second song. Stripped, lively, fun, the vocal singing without worrying, maintains its constant tone and maintains a very good balance with the instrumental, which is opposite and has brilliant high riffs, with the beats well followed. It has the indie face of the 2000s that we miss.
Tinted Windows" is the fifth song. With a smooth, calm feel, with differentiated beats and very light chords, it is a fusion of indie rock and Brazilian bossa nova, a mixture that goes very well. With great quality, the band provides the listener indie rock lover the possibility of listening to this beautiful song on the beach, totally smooth and pleasant to hear. The seventh track "Waste of Time" has a solo at the beginning of two guitars, one base and the other strumming, very smooth, a light rock, which has bass riffs and light beats in the course, a sound combination that pleases a lot. "Sirenita" is the eighth song, with a bossa nova feel, surprising the guitar riffs in the background. The introduction is very close to the pace that Brazilians like. There are 7 minutes of a song that is remarkable, with the guitar making all the sound, it is worth listening to. The album "This Was Gonna Last" has fantastic songs, indie rock that surprises, with its transformations and diversified sound environments, Butterfly Garden bursts with unforgettable instrumentals and a vocalist with a solid timbre.
