REMIT lança novo álbum "Questions Unanswered" com 8 faixas que traz o melhor do rock. 

O trio Remit, de Naarm e Melbourne, lança seu álbum de estreia, "Questions Unanswered". Uma mistura poderosa de rock, pós-punk e krautrock, o disco é um ataque sonoro que oferece uma reflexão crua e implacável da vida em um mundo cada vez mais desarticulado. Escrito nas profundezas do infame e misterioso "bunker de concreto" subterrâneo da banda, um espaço úmido e mal iluminado, mais parecido com um abrigo pós-apocalíptico.

Para iniciar, tem a primeira faixa "Are You Compliant?" um rock marcante, com batidas que agitam a gente, riffs de guitarra que fazem nossa mente girar, a faixa nos leva com intensidade melódica e o vocal solido, expressivo, com traços punk, em um rock com efeitos modernos, uma faixa envolvente e direta aos ouvintes, com transições e mundanas de ritmo que nos faz vibrar.

"Debunker" tem um início psicodélico, batidas crescentes, o baixo nos cativa ditando o tom e sentimos uma guitarra distorcida. A faixa que estava crescente, de repente muda o ritmo, ficando mais agitada e o vocal canta seus versos de forma suave, sem preocupação, deixando a faixa fluir em nossas veias e nossa mente fixa girando nos sons eletrizantes que ocorrem entre as transições.

"Hills Are Shaking" é a terceira faixa, com riffs mais sombrios, batidas mais punk ao estilo anos 80, o ambiente pode ser obscuro mas atraente. A canção arrepia o ouvinte por dentro, com ondas vindas da guitarra que fazem a gente flutuar sobre elas e depois ocorre a quebra delas, a gente canta junto, é um ambiente forte e versátil, o vocal aqui nos lembra algo de Joey Ramone.

A quinta faixa "Take This Pain Away" tem um estilo mais clássico, com um arranjo que nos envolve em uma tapeçaria que traz traços psicodélicos aos finais dos versos, o instrumental é muito bem trabalhado. O vocal tem sua expressividade inabalável, leva a melodia conforme quer. Essa faixa é para chegar em casa, a noite, fechar os olhos e deixar essa vibe te levar para ambientes nunca visitados antes. 

"My Transformation" é a sexta faixa, poderia ter vindo diretamente dos anos 80, um rock despojado, que podemos sentir uma brisa em uma estrada, vidro do carro aberto, o vento batendo em nosso cabelo, passando ao lado das praias, dia ensolarado, mascando um chiclete, óculos escuros e esse som no volume alto no carro. É isso que podemos imaginar nesse rock que faz a gente respirar anos 80. O álbum passa ainda por "We Are The Wanderers" sendo a sétima faixa, fazendo a gente ainda continuar nesse clima de rock dos anos 80, com um solo de guitarra que incendeia a gente.

Para finalizar, tem a oitava faixa "Posthuman", intensa, nos leva ao rock implacável que o trio fez durante o álbum. A faixa tem uma letra profunda, reflexiva e o vocal mais introspectivo. O instrumental é poderoso, distorcido, deixa nossa mente em êxtase, liberando hormônios catárticos, sentimos a liberdade de estar em uma jornada avassaladora.

O novo álbum é uma obra vibrante, trazendo as facetas do rock, punk, anos 80, influências do gótico em trechos mais sombrios, é tudo que a gente precisava para ficar revigorado com o bom e velho rock and roll.

REMIT releases new album "Questions Unanswered" with 8 tracks showcasing the best of rock.

The Naarm, Melbourne-based trio Remit releases their debut album, "Questions Unanswered." A powerful blend of rock, post-punk, and krautrock, the album is a sonic assault that offers a raw and relentless reflection on life in an increasingly disjointed world. Written deep within the band's infamous and mysterious "concrete bunker," a damp, dimly lit space resembling a post-apocalyptic shelter.

Starting off, there's the first track, "Are You Compliant?", a striking rock song with stirring beats and mind-boggling guitar riffs. The track captivates us with melodic intensity and solid, expressive vocals, with punk undertones, in a rock with modern effects. It's an engaging and direct track for listeners, with transitions and rhythmic mundanes that make us vibrate.

"Debunker" has a psychedelic beginning, with growing beats, the bass captivating us, setting the tone, and we hear a distorted guitar. The track, which was building, suddenly changes pace, becoming more agitated, and the vocals sing their verses smoothly, without worry, letting the track flow through our veins and our minds fixated on the electrifying sounds that occur between the transitions.

"Hills Are Shaking" is the third track, with darker riffs and more punk-like '80s beats. The atmosphere can be dark but alluring. The song sends chills down the listener's spine, with waves of guitar that make us float above them, and then they break, making us sing along. It's a strong and versatile atmosphere, the vocals here reminding us of something by Joey Ramone.

The fifth track, "Take This Pain Away," has a more classic style, with an arrangement that envelops us in a tapestry that brings psychedelic touches to the verses' endings. The instrumental is beautifully crafted. The vocals are unwaveringly expressive, carrying the melody as they please. This track is perfect for getting home at night, closing your eyes, and letting this vibe transport you to places you've never been before.

"My Transformation" is the sixth track, and it could have come straight from the '80s. It's a stripped-down rock song where you can feel the breeze on a highway, the car window open, the wind blowing through your hair, passing by the beaches, a sunny day, chewing gum, sunglasses on, and that music blasting in the car. That's what we can imagine in this rock that makes us breathe the '80s. The album also features "We Are The Wanderers," the seventh track, continuing that '80s rock vibe with a guitar solo that sets us on fire.

Finally, the eighth track, "Posthuman," is intense and takes us back to the relentless rock the trio created throughout the album. The track features deep, reflective lyrics and introspective vocals. The instrumental is powerful and distorted, leaving us in ecstasy, releasing cathartic hormones, and feeling the freedom of being on an overwhelming journey.

The new album is a vibrant work, bringing together facets of rock, punk, the '80s, and gothic influences in darker sections. It's everything we needed to feel reinvigorated by good old-fashioned rock and roll.
